About StudyPathExp

StudyPathExp is an independent study abroad research platform built specifically for students from Pakistan and India. We publish in-depth, verified guides on student visas, scholarships, IELTS preparation, education loans, and university selection — with a focus on real, actionable information rather than generic advice.

Every guide on this site is written from the perspective of someone who has watched students lose their visa applications over preventable mistakes, miss scholarship deadlines because of bad information, and make expensive university choices based on outdated data. We exist to change that.

Meet the Author — Mohsin Khan

Mohsin Khan is a Lahore-based study abroad researcher and the founder of StudyPathExp. He has spent the past several years tracking visa policy changes across the UK, Canada, Germany, Australia, and South Korea, interviewing students who have been both accepted and rejected, and translating that experience into guides that reflect what the official embassy websites don’t tell you.

Mohsin’s interest in international education started when he watched several of his peers lose their UK student visa applications over financial documentation errors that were entirely fixable — if they had known the specific UKVI paragraph requirements in advance. That frustration became StudyPathExp.

He writes every article on this site personally. The guides reflect research into official UKVI, IRCC, DAAD, and university admissions documentation — cross-referenced against real student outcomes and updated whenever policies change.

What We Cover

  • Student Visas — UK, Canada, Germany, Australia, US F-1. What officers look for, what kills applications, and how to appeal refusals.
  • Scholarships — Chevening, DAAD, Fulbright, Erasmus Mundus, and fully funded options open to Pakistani and Indian students — with real deadlines and eligibility requirements.
  • IELTS Preparation — Score requirements by country and university, preparation strategies that work for non-native speakers, and pathways that don’t require IELTS.
  • Education Loans — Secured vs unsecured loans, lenders who work with Pakistani applicants, and the documentation mistakes that cause visa refusals even after a loan is approved.
  • Study Destinations — Country-specific guides on costs, post-study work rights, visa success rates for Pakistani students, and which destinations offer the best return on investment.

Our Values

  • Accuracy over speed. We do not publish guides until the information has been verified against official sources. When policies change, we update.
  • Specificity over generality. “Prepare a strong SOP” is not advice. We tell you exactly what UK visa officers look for in a Statement of Purpose and why generic SOPs fail.
  • Honesty about difficulty. Some visa applications are hard. Some scholarship competitions are genuinely competitive. We don’t pretend otherwise.
  • Pakistani and Indian student perspective. The challenges facing applicants from South Asia are different from those facing applicants from Western Europe. Our guides reflect that reality.
